TD List privacy policy
TD List is a shared list app for iPhone from Tosh Development. This page explains what the app does, and does not do, with information.
What stays on your iPhone and in iCloud
TD List saves your lists, sections, items, stars, notes, photos you attach and archived items on your iPhone. If you use iCloud, Apple keeps a copy in your own iCloud account so your lists stay in sync across your devices. Tosh Development cannot see what is stored in your iCloud account.
Shared lists
When you share a list, Apple’s iCloud sharing makes that list, including its notes and photos, visible to the people you invite. They can see and change it until you stop sharing or they leave. Sharing is handled by Apple; Tosh Development is not part of it and does not receive the shared content.
Photos
TD List only uses a photo you choose to attach to an item. It does not browse or upload your photo library.
What we collect
Tosh Development does not operate a server that receives your lists, notes or photos. TD List has no advertising or app-usage analytics service, and does not request access to your location or contacts. If you email support, we receive the address and information you choose to send so we can respond.
Optional Microsoft To Do import
If you choose to import, you sign in directly with Microsoft and grant read-only access to your Microsoft To Do tasks. TD List copies only the active task titles you select. It does not change your Microsoft lists. Imported titles and identifiers used to avoid duplicate imports become part of your TD List data on your iPhone and in iCloud.
The app uses Microsoft’s authentication library. Microsoft declares that this library may process names, email addresses, phone numbers, other contact information, account and device identifiers, customer-support information and diagnostic data for app functionality. Which information is involved depends on your Microsoft account and sign-in flow. These services are governed by Microsoft’s privacy statement. TD List does not use this information for advertising or tracking.
Your Microsoft password is handled by Microsoft. TD List keeps the import access token in memory for the import session, removes the cached Microsoft account after sign-in, and clears the session when you close import. There is no ongoing Microsoft sync.
Voice and AI
The public 1.0 release does not include AI voice commands and does not send your lists or voice to an AI service. Earlier private TestFlight previews may have different features; this policy describes the public release.
TestFlight and Apple
If you try a pre-release version through Apple’s TestFlight, Apple handles the installation and any feedback, screenshots or crash reports you choose to send. Please see Apple’s privacy policy for how TestFlight and iCloud work.
Deleting your information
Completed items remain in Archive until you restore or delete them. You can delete items and lists in the app; those changes sync through iCloud when it is enabled. An owner can stop sharing a list, while a participant can leave it without deleting the owner’s copy. Deleting the app removes its local data but does not by itself delete copies stored in iCloud. You can manage iCloud storage in your Apple settings. Other people may retain copies of content you previously shared with them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
